Well i don't have an A4 in my 'collection' and even though it'll be vastly overpriced and over-engineered being ZM. I might have to save some pennies and get one.

It’s a Caterpillar¹ D7 with an Armored Cab M2 (of which 1189 were made) and some or another dozer blade that I’m not up to speed on. These were used by the US Army in large numbers in the Second World War, mainly in Europe.

¹ But MiniArt probably aren’t calling it that because they don’t want that company to claim money from them. Two weeks ago I was talking to Graham Sellars of Resicast, including about the D7 he used to produce, and said that within a few weeks of a review of it appearing in an American modelling magazine, he got a letter from Caterpillar’s lawyers …

I was going to say: we don’t need the skills of someone like BattleshipBob to guess the rough vehicle type for that one … Maybe the original part is that they’re in their Blitz range, apparently meaning “relatively cheap and quick to build”? But Takom StuGs are relatively cheap anyway …

And they are F or F8 series StuGs as they have the air vent on top and the mesh screen over the gunner's sight on the right....
