Ho-Hum! another Tigger.... One day I must build the Dragon one that is sitting at the bottom of my stash holding all the others up... BUT!!!! this one comes with its own bits of cloth.... and a plastic log or two...
Sorry to be facetious, but really, has this cow not been milked enough.Comment

Apparently not.....I did see one review that did state that in Takom's defence they had never done a Tiger before.....but that's a very thin defence...,Ho-Hum! another Tigger.... Yup, I've got the Academy full interior model in the stash - I have never got round to making it - I found more obscure things to make ( OK, it was bought at a silly knock down price! )Ho-Hum! another Tigger.... It being compulsory for all 1/35 AFV makers to market one?
Being late to the party may get a more accurate model, but the markets pretty well saturated! It's good that ther are makers that don't follow this trend!

I guess Takom has their own way of doing things. They released the three Hetzer versions, early, mid, and late with full interiors and now they are releasing a bundle with all three of them without the interiors. Go figure......Life's to short to be a sheep...Comment

It's a very Asian thing being brand conscious. Like haven't you got the latest by so and so? They'll have a drawer full of branded watches and still buy another if their favorite brand does a new face-lift on one of their pieces. :rolling:Ho-Hum! another Tigger.... True. But the thing is, there’s already a near-literal boatload of Tiger kits out there, yet manufacturers seem to think the only way to count as a serious one, is to release another. It’s, as far as many modellers are concerned, a case of yawn, one more …Comment

It's the same with Bismarck and Yamato. They sell and no doubt makes money for the companies. So hopefully they can build more different models?Comment

They are just catering to the market. Whilst it can be (obviously to you) annoying. It's just money making to themComment

If selling the tigers enables them to finance and produce a couple of more unusual kits, where’s the harm? All kit makers produce them because all kit makers know they sell. I haven’t built a tiger kit for about forty five years, but then I haven’t built a Sherman for the same length of time. Doesn’t worry me if they make em though, they then might make something I want!Comment

https://www.themodellingnews.com/202...g-iii.html?m=1All looks very nice doesn't it ,72nd could do with a decent stug a lot of suspect details in the con sorry cad drawings but if it really is that good why on earth have they gone to all that trouble then make the biggest mistake that all the big manufacturers who release 72nd stuff make , yep they produce a really good top notch model and reduce it to a kiddies toy my fave pet hate moulded on tools surprised they didn't do the tow cables as well like a lot of them do. Price will be intresting the cost now of some of the 72nd kits is moving in to the 35th range its not for me but it will be intresting to see the real thing when it hits the street just imagine showing yourcompleted one to your friends passing them a magnifying glass and saying check out the road wheels you can read the manufacturers logo.Comment
