Yes ..... I hope this works out as I planned.
18 microns pixel size should be more than I need for a long time, the only upgrade would be to a bigger building area, but I can't justify the 50% increase in costs ( and drop in micron resolution per pixel )
Gloves and slap mat bought weeks ago, and a screen protector ( not that this machine needs one ) but better safe than sorry.
Now I just need to see if what I have read works, I am sure I will learn a few naughty words along the way.
I may have to change the fep from acf to nfep/pfa release film if it causes problems with smaller items.

Nothing as exciting as Gary's, but following my interest in Lend Lease and the M10 I came across this on a site that
Dave knows. Price was reduced from £50 odd vouchers to well below £30.So a bargain.
originally was made by Miniart this is according to scale mates first made in 2021.

I don’t think the I Love Kit version is a MiniArt rebox — Scalemates says it’s a new tool, I see. The sprues in the instructions are also very unlike the MiniArt ones. Regardless, IIRC I Love Kit is a Trumpeter brand (like Hobby Boss) so it’ll be a decent enough model to build, and I for one will be interested to see it made. Especially as I intend to build an M3A1 myself someday, so it’ll pay to watch how it goes together

Any Sherman tracks will fit. If you’re a purist then for an M3A1 you really want T41 tracks, but if you’re not that fussed then T51s will look almost the same but are easier to find. You could even see if someone has any spare from the ancient Italeri M4A1 that they replaced with something else.

Sorry didn't mean that is was Mini Art rebrand, when I looked I noticed that Mini Art had brought it out to as well.

Thanks for the link to Trumpeter , I thought the leaflet inside looked familiar.
As for the tracks will have a look .Depends on the assembly method.

Plus one on that Gary. A thread on resin printing would compliment Dave’s filament printing thread nicely :thumb2:

If you want a set of Italeri single-piece ones, I found I have a set in my Sherman spares box that you can have if you like. They’re not as stiff as the ones from the original issues of the kit, but not all that soft either.

Thanks , that's very kind of you . I did look at T51 by AFV Club AF35026 @£14.39 . John has them in the shop . There are some Fruils as well on another site, but the price of those is far too much, esp for a mud lover
.Will have a go at assembling the kit ones first , if that messes up then I will have to have a re think and ask you what you think .
                    Appreciate the offer .

Those are OK to assemble, the end connectors slide onto the links fairly easily but are not too loose. Still, pretty fiddly so I’m not sure they’re the set for you.

They’re not going onto any model of mine, so if you come to the conclusion you can use them, let me know.

A paper clock that actually works? That sounds like it’s one step away from having a chocolate teapot, TBH …

A working paper clock! I just had to check it wasn't April 1st.
You really have to do a build thread Peter.
