These did not cause a hole in the wallet being a generous gift from an excellent friend. Many thanks kind sir!
Royal mail took almost 7 weeks to deliver these about 150 miles. Little wonder they are struggling.
These will be used when I make my Tamiya Panther kit,

It's the strikes that cause the delays, I've worked in a mail centre and it's not processed in the order it arrives.
Stuff arrives and is put in a pile and sorted from the top of the pile, if the pile isn't cleared the next lot gets dumped on top of it. So it's possible that some stuff will stay at the bottom of the pile normally, but when it's not getting sorted the pile just gets deeper.

I'd seen this on ebay, but resisted it - but I then stumbled across it elsewhere - £12.04 delivered - which I couldn't resist! :rolling:

Hi Mark, nowadays I seldom buy any kits trying to build whats in the stash but different always comes along. Unlocking the chains I bought the sister ship HMS Norfolk from Aoshima and also the Trumpeter USS New York. See what happens when you're let loose.

Sorry Andy, I'll get the Dorsetshire after the Suffolk.

                      Cheers,

I hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as the Wespe and mothballed after construction.

                        Cheers,

Got this as a bit of nostalgia for a future build.

At one time back in the late '90's and early 2000's The Show Modeling was to go to for added details for armor models. I thought it would be fun to integrate some of this iconic p/e into a future build.
Yeah, I'm getting old and pining for the old days. :anguished:

Couldn’t resist getting hold of a copy of this bust, 3D printed resin, hollow so not heavy . Cannot see a print line anywhere and the detail is very very sharp, should be a joy to paint. Think he is about 1/5th scale.

It’s a bust of Sam Elliot who plays Shea Brennan in the paramount show 1883.
                                Likened is uncanny
