This stuff seems to be in short supply again, even the shop has been out for a while, so I searched for the smallest independent that had some in stock. Got to support the little guy!
They wrote a lovely note (company name erased out of respect for John).

Talking of him I noticed in his latest video that he's put a nut in the hull to support it. I wonder if he got the idea from Simon too :smiling5:
I rate the Ak paints also. It's a while ago now but I think Dave Ward & I were some of the first using them on here shortly after their release. I think we both did topics testing them way back. They wouldn't be my first choice for airbrushing but I've had very good results that way, and they are lovely for regular brushing.Comment

Ok..... So I have been weak at the show...
My only justification on the first purchase is that I have been promising myself that I would do a 1/35 Firefly at some point. There is a trade stand very close to us..... And he had this..... Now the most expensive kit I own....but at least 10% than cheaper anywhere and of course no P&P.
The masks are from the same stand...a small one lady company... formed in COVID...does a massive range of bespoke masks using the same kabuki tape as Tamiya. I have 3 Tiffies in the stash, so these will come in very handy!
ATB.

That RFM Sherman VC is a very nice kit, though I would replace the tracks if I were you … very fiddly to assemble, by the looks of them. Also, you may want to take note of this tip to avoid the use of those silly springs you get in the boxComment

Here's my modest haul from the De Havilland Museum Show
The figure set on the left is the Italeri Elco PT Boat Crew , for £3 - BARGAIN!
I've decide to dump the Vallejo primer and try the AK as it's so well-loved on this forum.
And the Red Knight was a fiver and will be great for my grandson who's 10 and just getting into model kits.Comment
