I’ve not built an Eduard kit before so I’m looking forward to getting started on this one.

Geoff.
It's a great kit. You'll enjoy it.

If I didn't know you better I would say you had a thing for Russian kit.

When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Usually. However got these in a ridiculous sale on a well know, sometimes dodgy Chinese rainforest type site. Genuine serial numbers. Was cheap enough not to care if they were knock offs Click image for larger version

This AFV Club M-109 started off as a scrap kit with extras that someone abandoned for a measly £5 at my last visit to the MAFVA Nationals. It was consigned to the stash cupboard to be converted into the Israeli version at a later date.
Then I saw this Doher/Rochev on evilbay for less than the original price and.......

I remember the first 109,when the 42nd Artillery had them in Germany , must have been in the very late 60's.
Watch a fire power exercise at the ranges when a complete battery all fired together at one target . Probably why I'm hard of hearing now .

We could remove the engine pack in about an HR , a great vehicle.

I have become the owner of about a Sherman tank and a half plus spares in plastic, resin, turned aluminium and 3D-printed bits:

That’s most of a Tamiya 105 mm M4A3 kit, except for the whole of the turret, several resin sets from Formations and Armoured Brigade Models (both defunct, AFAIK) and Blast, including a full set of roadwheels, two sets of idlers, various detail accessories like headlight guards, five track skids, an Asuka .50-calibre machine gun, a resin upper hull, two turrets, and not one, not two, but three turned aluminium 105 mm howitzer barrels from different brands … plus assorted other bits and pieces. Oh, and instructions for some but not all of these, and by the looks of it also for some things not actually included

Somebody put this up for sale, and I thought, for the price of approximately that Tamiya kit, why not? Sure, almost all of it is intended for the previous generation of Sherman tank kits (that is, the Tamiya and Italeri ones from the 1980s) but a lot of the bits will be useful for more modern ones as well, by the looks of it.
