It might Chris, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'm not sure if NTSC is relevant to a DVD, as it's a standard for the way the colour information is encoded when broadcast.
When I was teaching colour TV servicing in the 1970s we joked that it stands for "Never Twice the Same Colour"!

It is available to stream on Apple TV which you can sign up to on a free trail. Don't know how easy it is to unsubribe from though.

Good film, really enjoyed it. Tom Hanks is always excellent.

US and Japanese standard wasn’t it Pete? Ours was PAL 625 lines if I’m not going mad…..

                Tim,
I think your right. A mate of mine bought a video in the PX in Germany thinking he got a great deal but wouldn't work with the British TV.

US and some European countries Tim. Japan used a sort of hybrid system that could transmit PAL or NTSC equally badly.

                      1. ntsc is how colour is encoded ( agree with you stillp )
                      2. region is how a DVD was locked for sale in different countries.
                      3. most multiregion DVD players can play any region and pal/secam/ntsc discs ( you can get region 2 NTSC discs )
                      4. any modern TV can display 25fps and 30fps footage.

Greyhound was sold to Apple TV, which means they want you to watch it on Apple TV

Might be worth asking the vendors Chris?
