    Advice on cat painting, please

I've been given a garden ornament to repaint, and I'm looking for colour scheme suggestions. I've been given free-rein - I could give it tiger stripes, paint it sparkly pink, whatever. Any suggestions gratefully received!

As to hints, I’d do it like any other animal. Find a photo you like and copy it. Don’t make anything up, it rarely looks convincing.

Well here are my two posers. Unfortunately the tri- colour tabby passed last year.
Gingers are in fashion it would seem.Click image for larger version

I've stalled on wire tree making while I wait for some Flexi-Bark™ to arrive. So I've just had an absolute blast painting this. Took about four hours start to finish - no pressure, slap on the paint and have some fun!
