    Disgusting smell

I was doing some masking on the Dakotas today and broke out the Humbrol Maskol, does anyone use another product that smells as bad?

I remember Humbrol Maskol smelling like the rubber factory in the old part of town.

        Cheers,
        Wabble.

More like ammonia as they use some kind of chemical to process raw latex into rubber. The people that lived near that factory must have a strong nose.

                      Cheers,

I thought the ammonia content in that stuff attacked acrylic paint. Are you using it on them?

It is the latex combined with ammonia. Same as Copydex glue which also makes you heave.

I only know something that sounds like that to speed up oil paint drying and it's not glue.

                              Cheers,
