These are very stable cars you have to be a right nutter to turn one over.
The top gear episode to get it to turn over that easily the welded the differ added weight to one side and put three different sized tyres on.
WELL Peter the ole regal was terrible on corners as i had mine so that the front fibre glass was scrappin the rd on a corner an put the wind up a freind who was with me an he said mine was the only car he ever felt seasick in lol as it was a terrible ride but it got me from A TO B but your type of design looks a lot better than mine an more stable an quite nice lookin

Can remember one of my uncles and his 3 wheeler , he had a Bond , think it had a Villers engine . He loved it .

Looks like Vauxhall Corsa mk1 headlamp units fitted.
I see you like unusual cars like me, just bought a Kia Stinger (18 plate) of which there are onky 6500 registered in the UK so not as rare as yours.

I always tried to have something different including Fiat Multipla, Fiat 127 Abarth, Fiat 131 Superstrada, Fiat 600 D, Lancia Beta Monte Carlo, 1962 Chrysler New Yorker, 1947 MG TC, Alfa Romeo 1600 GT Junior, BMW 733i.
Most of these were in South Africa where rust is no problem inland.
I am building car kits which I or the family owned or full size cars I rebuilt for clients when I had a bodyshop.
Unfortunately most of the eligible vehicles have not been released in kit form, presumably your new wheels is not available as liable as a kit either.

Yes reliant had this habit of borrowing things the tail lights on the mk2 and 3 are from the Ford p100 pick up the headlights on the rialto were from a mini metro my mk2 Robin headlights and indicators are from the mk2 Ford fiesta and the mk3 Robins are indeed from the corsa

I had a mate that owned a multipla….ugly on the outside but very practical on the inside, I thought……still didn’t want to own one though……
I had a friend who owned two Multiplas! (Not both at once) She only got rid of the second one because her kids were embarassed to be taken to school in it!

Thanks for your comments re the Multipla which we christened Dobbie. Its the only vehicle I know of, apart from a Lamborghini Espada, that has a larger door glass area than sheet metal! You could also see the interior door handles from 5 yards away. I had the diesel which was chipped to 135 bhp and fully laden with 6 adults, luggage and beers achieved 55 mpg at an average speed of 75 mph. Very comfortable and well equipped but the interior plastics were not as good as lego bricks.
The Superstrada was 2000 cc with 2 twin barrel sidedraught Webers and even at Johannesburgs altitude used to chew up and spit out BMW 528i 's easily.
I am now going to give you an update now that I have had it for 4 weeks I have found out that a couple of switches weren't working easily fixed and the wipers were also again easily fixed.
And now the problem area I have found out that the original ignition system was replaced with an after market electronic one which had packed up after 2 weeks of me having it it took a couple of hours to diagnose it I luckily had a replacement with the original points ignition and within 30 minutes I had her purring like a kitten.
The only things to do is sort out a minor oil leak and replace a squeaky fan belt other than that it's now very reliable and a pleasure to drive.
I took my old reliant to the garage to address some oil leaks to put a long story short they found out that the engine block was cracked and as I am due some pension money in a couple of months I will be putting a deposit on this. [ATTACH=CONFIG]n1196083[/ATTACH]
