    Packing my stuff away

I've not had any motivation to go near the bench for about a year. So I've decided that it's time to box everything up so it will be safe and stay clean. The boxes will be stored in the spare room out of the way. I'm not going to get shut of anything, just in case the bug bites at a later date. I'll still keep looking in on you guys. Good luck with all your projects. I'll be watching from the wings with the occasional comment.

That's what I thought. Hobbies are to be enjoyed. If I forced it, it would be more lije a chore.

Might as well sell it all on...
.. then at least you can profit from the proceeds and invest in something else that may get you more interested Paul

Hope you come back soon as well.
I did this myself for a few years about about fifteen years ago. Glad I never got shot of it all at the time now. The main stuff, kits, larger tools etc, are easy to replace. However all the small tools, materials and gadgets would sell for peanuts but would cost a great deal of time and money to track down again. I found a change of subject helped the resurgence, and that’s when I sold on all the kits and bits I had kept that never fitted in to the new field of interest.

See you later Paul, enjoy your hiatus.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Glad you'll keep looking in, Paul.
Hope you'll come back to the hobby or begin a totally different one; having fun is the priming fuze for every hobby.
