    Moving a submarine across Germany in WW2

    While on UTube I came across this . The determination of the Germans during WW2 to get things done was mind-blowing , this is an example.



    Well worth a watch .

    At first I thought you were referring to this submarine that was in the news here yesterday:

    But I see it’s about something a bit older still

        That is an amazing story. There is no doubt that war drives innovation. Such a feat, such a huge undertaking.

          Yes Bob, after all that effort to get then there they sank most of them themselves. The Russian took one out.

              I have no interest in ships/submarines but I love a good engineering story where clever men solve unusual problems so this video was an interesting watch, thanks for sharing John.

                  Glad you found it interesting, like wise Andy I'm not really a floaty , but the effort that was put into this was beyond belief.Think after all that they either scuttled them or were knocked out .

                    Didn't have the sound on Ian, mostly watch these videos with subtitles as the sounds it so variable in quality.
