Cruel thing happened to a friend of mine his X Wife would get in his stash of Model Planes and put them at the bottom of the Garbage Bin then when it was full of garbage he would carry it to the curb not knowing her cruel deed she done until his stash got low and he was wondering where his kits were so she told him what she did all along he was throwing away his own Model kits. It pays to monitor your stash at least once or twice a week and have a list. You never know.Comment

Used to be a continental truck driver, so away from home a lot. Arriving home from a Moscow trip, tried the key in the front door - did not fit... Just happened to glance at the rubbish bin and there were all my clothes/possesions dumped in it, and a new boyfriend in the house....
Got my revenge at the divorce hearing - the house was in my name and purchased by me and they were ordered to vacate asap. I do love a happy ending.Comment

Had almost the same with my ex, we bought our first house for a little over £39000.00 and started our life together, however 13 years later the relationship ended due to infidelity on her part so I left, I stopped paying the mortgage a few months later and agreed to sign over the house in lieu of child support, which was agreed by both parties, this signing never happended
she later changed her mind due to some prompting by her current squeeze, so banged me for child support also...(which I might add I never minded...they're my kids anyway)...
Jump forward 10 years and loads of legal / financial crap from her, her late father thought he was gonna be clever by changing our ownership of the house from joint mortgage holders to joint partners/owners in the property....something to do with removing me from the legal mortgage documents... and I would get a even smaller percentage if 'we' ever sold the house....I never really understood why this was needed...I was totally fine with the original 'small' percentage I'd have got.......so to put an end to all the crap I signed it, got a copy of the documentation and went on my merry way...(This was her downfall)..
He thought she would then have a legal right to sell the house to raise some funds...(call it downsizing if you will), and seeing as he believed she would have the bigger share would get all the funds less a small percentage for me from it. .....So wrong......
A few months after I'd signed to change our 'rights' on the property, (she finally admitted to him that I'd never signed the house across to her), he came to me asking what I had planned for my share of the house, the reply was 'the minute my youngest reached 18 I was going to force a sale of the house', as I was legally entitled to do so .... you should have seen the panic on his face, it was priceless...he must have realised that in a year or so's time his daughter would be forced out of the house and she couldn't stop me doing it....
When I looked into doing this the building society informed me that as a 'joint' partner I was now legally entitled to a minimum of 50% of any sale price..whereas if I hadn't signed this paperwork years earlier I would have got a small percentage based on the actual time I paid the mortgage for..remember the paperwork he got me to sign?...well It came back to bite her in the ass...
The house was now valued at just over £90000.00...so things were looking up for me...
He eventually turned up at my current house begging me to sell my half to him thus buying me out of the house because she couldn't raise the money due to me not being willing to sign a remortgage on the house, (as it legally had two owners and not just the one) I eventually agreed after making them sweat a bit and given I originally paid £39000.00 for it, I ended up with £45000.00 in my bank, no legal ties to a house I once owned and he also paid all the legal fees..
His money was used a to pay off the mortgage on our current property.. granted we managed to pay a 90% deposit on it, and the rest was banged into a trust for my two sons..
I'd say i came out a winner on that score
Now go grab yourself a chocolate hobnob and brew for getting to the end of this story... :thumb2:Comment

I wont say to much about the ex missus cos itll turn into the never-ending rant! She did do a few things that made me smile when we split up, i was about three minutes late picking my kids up one weekend so to teach me a lesson she decided to involve the csa regarding maintenance payments to try and make my life more difficult, the result of that was me having to pay less money than she was getting off me previously :thumb2: not learning from this that keeping your mouth shut sometimes is best, after one of her many phone calls to me just to put me down and trying to start arguments for the fun of it,she walked into her cash in hand job saying to everyone " that f@#£#%g idiot says he'll grass me up to the social if i dont leave him alone hahaha" her employment was terminated on the spot as they couldnt take the risk:tears-of-joy: i'll happily take those little wins.Comment

Nowadays, I tend to let stuff slide, but back when my 'stuff' was happening it was all about every small victory in a sea of endless garbage and crap from the ex that kept me going..glad to say I ended up married to a 'good one' and don't have any crap like that any more... both my sons are finally starting to see through the lies and crap she told them about me...so life is good..I'm finally livin' the dream...Comment
