Got to love em when they do something like that. My friends dog nicked his dinner off the counter, then hid the empty plate behind the kitchen bin. He couldn’t work out what had happened until he found the plate LOL…..

I have dogs myself but when I was working I adopted the work cat. The hours of fun and laughs she gave me with her antics. Although I drew the line at a half regurgitated mouse!!! I thought she was semi feral but long story short, she was chipped and I managed to reunite her with her true owners. (Good for me because that meant I could retire. Only reason I stayed was to feed the cat!!
Mind you!! My puppy at the moment is giving a few giggles - as well as grief!!!!

I ended up buying a humane mouse trap that we leave out if a live one is spotted……drew the line at the live weasel she tried to bring in though. Eight inches plus tail of pure attitude. Swearing it’s head off until she released it. Going quietly just wasn’t in its nature or vocabulary.

Where we have moved to on Fraggle we have a regular visit from a Ginger Tom, (George). Good mouser!!! We have a dry stone wall at the back of the garden and George will sit for ages waiting. Didn't pay any heed to the last dog, old and barely able to move, however!!! The pup!! Different kettle of fish!!!! She's swift!!!
George has take to night visits now, regularly picked up on CCTV strolling through at all hours of the night!!

Many years ago we had a golden retriever called Honey. We trained her to fetch her bowl. When we said "Dinner Time" she would trot off to the utility room, stand on her back paws to reach the shelf and bring her bowl to us in the kitchen.
They do provide endless entertainment and help put this crazy world in perspective.

Our youngest Cavalier waits expectantly for dinner to be served, just before delivery she runs round i(very fast) n tight circles excitedly barking her head off! Cavaliers are said to only have one brain cell but Rosie shares hers with (as yet unknown) A N Other!

When I was with the ex psycho, we had a cat, it would often partner up with the neighbours moggy, go out and have fun, capture the fun, bring it back to our house... yes ours, not the neighbours, ours!
Stupid o'clock in the morning, muggins here is going downstairs see what poor rodent is now being teased, tortured, traumatised and psychologically screwed up by the neighbourhood moggy tag team! Some of the screeches that came from those rodents... they certainly didn't give up their name, rank or number! Bloody cats!!
