Always good when it’s over Andrew. Well done mate :thumb2:
I did my OU honours degree over eight years so know exactly how you feel. You are a little fortunate to be doing it in this day and age though. My first couple of years worth of assignments were done before home printing became commonplace. Rewriting anything after editing was a real chore for the early assignments because I had to do it by hand. I always thought my first dot matrix printer was worth 5 - 10% on the final mark because I could put the time into editing rather than into the laborious hand written part.

Oh no, not someone else who can talk the hind legs off a donkey?! I live with a woman who can do that, thinking about it, she'd be able to talk the front legs off too! :tears-of-joy:

Well done Andrew, that must be a relief, anyway, that's enough of that, can't wait to see your next creation :thumb2:

Talking ain’t the problem Lee……it’s when they can persuade the legless beast to get up and walk afterwards you’ve got problems…..

Tim, I'm getting to the point of cutting my ears off and plugging up the gaps with the leftovers!

Thanks gents, yet again an example of what a great forum this is! And yes, finally glad it is over and done with!!

Tim - know what you mean about printing. I'm old fashioned and find it much easier to read long documents in hardcopy. Fortunately, as work is paying for the course as part of my professional development, I had no qualms about printing anything off at work.....especially helpful with the 300+ page course study book!!

Lee - in a case of outrageous self publicity, you don't have to wait.....https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/andrews-2x-1-72-s-model-jagdpanthers.41683/

Ian - The waiting is the hard part. I'm confident I have done enough to pass and obviously want to do well. However, aside from each unit have a knowledge 'self-check' test section that gave you a model answer and a couple of online sessions, none of my work has been marked by a human being and so I have little to judge myself against.

                Thanks again gents!

I was looking back over some of my OU assignments a few days ago and wondered how the tutors managed to read my scrawl!

Last 'homework' I had to submit was thankfully in the days of the dot matrix. Saved hiring a cypher clerk to decode my script!!!
