Found it in the loft this morning and though it might be of interest to members.

That's a blast from the past Ron. If you still had you Dinky collection itself from back in the day it would be worth a small fortune.

Back in those days they were for playing with, not storing for 60 odd years thinking one day they will be worth a few bob....

As a slight aside. I had a serious illness when I was 7, which kept me in strict isolation in hospital (I had a whole ward to myself, honest) My mum and dad biked 15 miles every day to see me and all they could do was tap on the ward window and wave. On each daily visit they brought me a new Dinky Toy which they gave to the staff to give to me.
I had around 20 Dinky Toys by the time I was better. Unfortunately, due to the seriousness of my illness and for fear of contamination by taking them all home, the toys were all destroyed.

At least I wasn't!
