Calling this of you across ‘the pond’

Saturday I will be flying to Minneapolis St Paul where my lady’s family from Wisconsin will be meeting us.

I am there for two weeks visiting and attending her family celebrations. Whilst my lady has some things she wants to do there we will have plenty of time to explore this part of the mid-west. We will be staying in St Paul and near a little place called Thorpe.

So the question is, what’s there to see? Any good model shops? Any model exhibitions? What about military museums or other museums….

Are any of you from that part of the USA and can give me some suggestions please?

Barry my Daughter and her boyfriend just got back from there three weeks lots of stuff to do they both love to fish and there’s many lakes to fish on. Here’s a picture of her with one of the Bass she caught on Fish Hook Lake. The old brick and mortar Hobby Shops are all but gone over here. As for Millitary stuff I’m sure there’s some Museum about how Minnesota how it played a part in Millitary History. Have fun here.

Thanks Lee, she certainly looks as if she is enjoying herself.

Mall of the Americas was a draw when I used to do business there. Lego had a huge display & there was a good book store there. I don't remember any LHSs.
