    Just seen this thread,
    I'm a bit of a Luddite,(don't think that'll be a surprise to anyone eh?!).
Never done any of the TwitFace type of thing, it's never interested me and i don't feel I've missed out at all... although, obviously,I can see that it's useful, and loved by many:thumb2:.
You Tube,I class as different, and I use that A LOT, for streaming films and music, whilst I'm modelling in my "War Office" :nerd: I do also use it for hints and tips,if there's something,(modelling wise),that I'd like to see how others go about things.I never really consider that I should be "in awe",yes,I do look at some stuff and think,"Wow, that's amazing"!! ....but that's about it,it doesn't make me feel like I'm not at a good enough standard,(even if I'm not!!:tears-of-joy.
As others have already said, this site is my one and only club and I absolutely love it.... in ALL respects
    That's it from me,sermon over!!:nerd:

If you want to see art being created I highly recommend A4 Garage. A French guy that builds the most wonderful cars. A master of sows ear to silk purse.
Not talking no annoying music just him working. He does put a text label up of what he is using.

I have followed the French Forum Autho87 for several years now. What scale does this French guy model in Ian?

Just watched the guy on A4 Garage build a Citroen DS. Totally mind-blowing.

Well this site is my main use of social media, I like Tim’s description of it being his model club as that’s how I feel about it too :smiling4:
I’m on Facebook but hardly use it and I’ve never bothered with Twitter etc.
I do follow a few modellers on YouTube but am very sceptical of reviews on there especially the recent ones where the creators get freebies from certain model companies
I watch some builds on there too but don’t worry if they are better than anything I do or feel superior if they are worse.
I don’t feel I’m in competition with anyone I just like building models. Sometimes I am pleased with how they turn out other times I think it could have gone better but I just try to improve with each build.

                  Geoff.

The ones I have seen have all been 1/24.
