    Weather

Yeah the real stuff. Wet, dank miserable UK weather.
If I had any plans at all to return to the bench today they have been dashed by the dear ole weather in Blighty at the moment.
It's wet outside but it's dry inside I hear some say.
    Nope, no arguments from me!
The killer is the lightening. Had two power cuts already and I can still hear thunder a way off so no chance. I would be really erm!! Annoyed! If in the middle of spraying my Beetles body shell and the compressor stopped due to a power cut, then there is simply the lack of light. Nah
In cricketing parlance - Rain stopped play.
Hope it's better where you are.

Exactly the same in Taunton thunder lightning and absolutely biblical downpours from 4am not even worth getting dressed and not much light to build with either.

Hmm - watching the weather radar - looks like it'll hit around 12:30 in Gloucestershire - ah well - I wasn't going out anyway........................

Nice clear day up here. We had a show from the Northern Lights last night, which was stunning, and this morning it was -1 when i set off to work. Also had the 2nd hard frost of the season so had to de-ice the car

One of the most spectacular thunder and lightning storms I've ever witnessed down here overnight, more to come today with a month's worth of rain in 24hrs apparently :tongue-out2:,
          ..... as for powercuts...
.... charged, wireless LED lamp, sharp scalpel and glue...
          .... no power needed,job done :thumb2:.

Rained a bit overnight here in Shropshire. Now a bit dull but quite warm. Got back from holiday on Friday so unpacking etc took up yesterday. Hopefully some bench time today.
I hope the terrible conditions which some of you have had to endure misses us.

I remember that, (the minus temps cycling to work), from my 8 years working in Scotland. From what I hear from a mate in Kilmarnock, the days of the 8 foot drifts on Fenwick moor are long gone though.

Just took the opportunity of a gap in the rain to walk pooch. Noticed the top part of the island was still in cloud where us a tad lower down has the cloud hovering just above. The only good thing these days is the fog horn on the lighthouse has been silenced thanks to technology!!!

Nottingham is nice and bright today, no rain...(I've jinxed it now I'll bet), just a slight breeze.

We were looking forward to a storm here in West Sussex but it completely skipped around us over night and we’ve had a brief shower and a few rumblings this morning
Managed to spray some parts on the Subaru RC before the rain hit and now sat building my Lego Technic McLaren Senna with a mug of earl grey

Over here in the East we have precisely nowt. Bit cloudier than its been for a couple of weeks, but no sign of the wet stuff.

I could do with a break from watering the garden...... and a refill of the water butts....

Sun is out at the moment on Fraggle but I'm watching the cumulus clouds rising so methinks a bit more rain and if they carry on filling and climbing the cumulus, (Cu) may just turn into (CuNm), cumulonimbus. Big nasty storm clouds. Fingers crossed they don't. Had enough flashing lights last night!!

23c and sunny for us, a pain in the butt as I was putting cobbles down by our fire pit. Might be rain in the week though, farmer is sowing winter seed.

No Lightning, or Thunder, just a lot of rain - quite a let down
