I've seen the advert a couple of times and actually looked it up on the internet. Personally I don't like the idea of waiting for the next set of parts. Also, as Doug pointed out, the cost will be around £1400 all in which is a lot of money. It should build into a fine model but apart from the lights and moving parts I think Barry's model will be far better. So no, I won't be buying it.
Just imagine the feeling of the newsagents selling out, or you not finding one
That company always do things like this, the cost is ridiculous anyway .

I saw a car built by instalments on one of the many auction progs on the box. Sold for less than a third of what the chap paid for the build and it took him two years!!
As Jim said, I couldn't wait that long and I'm not a fast builder!!!! Plus!!! What if the company who distribute the magazine go bust!!! It's happened!!!!
Imagine the frustration. You go on holiday for a week and the newsagent forgets to save your copy! Much better and cheaper to get the HK or Border one like Peter says.
My only experience of a partwork was many years ago when my kids were small, when I started collecting for an encyclopedia. I'd got about three-quarters through the alphabet when the supplier went bankrupt.
Never again.

Saw the ad on TV, my response was HOW MUCH!!!???? Just looks like a very expensive play toy to me. Never mind the publisher going bust - what if your circumstances change?, or you change your mind? You'd be left with a partial model, that wouldn't be worth a great deal!

Issue 1 @ £1.99
I have noticed lots of posts in online model groups suggesting people buy it just for the prop motor. ( cheaper than many available online )
If they do , the company will think they have a lot more potential subscribers than they really do.
