It took until I got to the radial engine before I worked out what model of helicopter it was. And I see it had Netherlands Navy markings straight from the box, surprisingly enough.

In case you were wondering. the 'new' ICM Leopard 2A6 model is a rebox of the Revell 2012 release, it does have the addition of the crew, and a new sprue, but the same vinyl tracks :disappointed2:

IIRC, that’s not one of the worse Leopard 2 kits, but also not the best one available. Still, as this review of the Revell 2A4 says:

We need a good, accurate, Leopard 2A4. A good after-market set will improve this kit greatly (…), but the basic kit needs some work.

This kit is disappointing but in some respects it is an improvement on the previous Revell release and also on the Hobby Boss kit, though that kit also has its good points. The only Leopard 2 kits worth looking at are the 2A5 and 2A6 from Tamiya. For the true Leopard fan, not the casual buyer, nothing else comes close. Come on Tamiya - give us a 2A4!

Revell do have a relationship with ICM, they've reboxed a load of their models, so one the other way!
