As the Churchill I bought readymade only had soft-plastic tracks, but on a Churchill especially those just look a little off, I had to get a set of separate-link ones from AFV Club. I then decided to also buy some more stuff, like paint for the BARV and a set of drybrushing brushes (I bought one last year, and found it works well enough to get the whole set — the packaging is a bit overly luxurious, though), as well as Green Stuff that isn’t years past its use-by date

I've been trying to decide what to build next and this new Airfix release caught my eye. The usual speedy, fuss free service from the shop :
Along with that I've had a restock on some items, a new airbrush stand, a couple of the new AK marker pens to try, and a selection of brass tubes that have been on my wishlist for longer than I can remember
And just for a laugh a friend asked if I could do a jazzed up version of his transit MRST. This was the nearest thing I could find, all the way from Germany. It's around 1/18 scale and comes complete with flashing lights and sound effects :tears-of-joy:

You really did not need to go to such an expense just to mount my portrait photo, after all when you offer to buy me a drink, I have seen you collecting all the leftovers in the pub and putting it into one glass, such care and thoughtfulness takes some beating.....Nothing as interesting as you guys have acquired of late, but a very needed item from the Tedi €1 store down the road,
