Another visit to Aviation Megastore near Schipol airport and another helicopter for the stash. Lots of decal options.
I did look at the Heller 1/48 Jaguar but they only had the gift set version with glue and paint, I only have a cabin bag and the box was a bit big too.

I've been looking at the Russian or should that be Soviet, Hind and a Helix, swaying towards the Helix. (I've sacked the Cobra idea I had). Love the idea of the contra rotating main rotor!!

Saw this on ebay the other day and put it on my watch list , then got an offer from the seller for a 5% discount . It was only £9.59 with free postage to start with so I got it delivered for £9.11- bargain or what !
Its in a big box to say its only 1/72 , i could fit 3 Airfix bf109 boxes inside this. It looks a beautiful kit , four decal options and very well detailed

Just arrived, I guess I now have a 'stash'. A whole 1!!!!
Impressed me as next to the U/C the rotor head has to be the a weak point - BUT. They supply a metal shaft!!

I have the 30th anniversary boxing of this kit. It’s probably the longest stash dweller and often makes my annual build lists only to get overlooked by by whatever latest eye catcher comes my way.
