Howdy Richard,
Great looking "Stang". I remember building the "old yellow" Rockwell International mustang made famous in the reno, nevada air races. I recently considered doing a model of the mustang that I have in that color scheme.
I dont know if you have ever looked at the aircraft that fly in the Reno Air races or not, but the Mustang, the Bearcat and the Corsair as well as several other vintage warbirds all race there.
