I just used an old Humbrol Liquid Poly bottle that still had a bit in it and added some random chunks of sprue... later I emptied the dregs of an Extra Thin bottle into it and added more sprue. It's probably given me years worth and it's my favourite filler where a bit of strength is required...

You can always stretch some kit sprue and glue it in the gaps Andy.

I used an old (glass) paint bottle, chopped up some sprue, added TET and let it dissolve. It took a while to get a workable constancy by adjusting how much of each to add.

I generally apply mine with an old TET brush. A bit like paint I can adjust the consistency on the fly by wetting the brush with more cement, or do the same for blending the edges.

Thanks Nick, what kind of amount of Extra Thin do you need in relation to sprue bits to make it workable?

Yes, could do Tim,but need to fill quite a few gaps of varying sizes,so thought I'd have a go with the "Goo"

Always wondered about this piece of the dark art myself. Thank you from me also. I have a TeT bottle with a bit in the bottom and I may start adding sprue pieces to start it off.

The smaller the pieces, the quicker it'll dissolve. If you're feeling brave, borrow a cheese grater from the kitchen :tears-of-joy:
