    To quote a WW2 General!

    Nuts!!
Central heating has packed up and it's freezing!! Well damn cold anyway.
Luckily it's boiler service time so they are coming out tomorrow. May as well spend some time in the garage with my Sea King. At least I KNOW it's cold in there!!!!!

Modellers are a brave bunch. A vest, a thick shirt, two jumpers and a coat and away you go. Lovely and snug. :smiling3:

Just hope the paints and glue don't freeze up. :smiling6: Here they sweat.

            Cheers,

Do what I do, send the wife out with the spanners, she does not know what to do with them, uses a knife as a screwdriver, a junior hack saw to open the biscuit bags for the dogs mixer and why use a hammer when the heel of a shoe is handy...

Think yourself lucky mate, it'll be fixed soon. I've lived in this flat since around 1984-5 and theres no central heating here to this day, and no built-in heating of any kind whatsoever! (I have an old calor gas heater on wheels that I drag around to warm the place. fine most of the time but when it's really cold, it's best just to stay in bed. haha!)
