She's not aloud one cos she'll probably catch more than me, she has her own bed and gonk bag that goes in my bivi when i used to go night fishing.

When i used to fly fish tessa was a puppy she'd jump in and retrieve the trout then we'd share it cooked on the bank

    Cheers

I live almost at the cost of that sea Martin, I have had some stonking cod out of the sound. it's not uncommon for boats to come in with a geed few cod the right side of 10-12kg. I had one of 8kg from the coast a good few years ago. I used to fish after any thing with fin's but really got back into Carp fishing, which at the time was still in the hush hush stage. now its a major fad and at times hard to find a place that isn't overrun or worse overfished. The good news is there are Carp everywhere. Its just finding the biguns and enjoy it while it lasts.

I really must give it a go again as I do miss it. From every other weekend to nowt was a bit of a shock for the wife, it was about then she sussed out that all was not well with Mr. Muddle.....

      Sorry waffling on I know.

Sorry to read of the loss of your dog Martin....I've a fair notion how you are feeling.....my wife and I have been through it four times and each time we said never again, no more dogs.....

Then after a few days of suffering an 'empty house' we were off to the RSPCA kennels or similar and came home with a new dog - all have been rescue dogs. Trust me Martin, do the same....never forget the ones gone before, but pile all your love into the new addition. It worked every time!!

                      Cheers,

                      Ron

Sorry to read this. It always leaves a big empty place in both you home and your heart.

I second Ron's suggestion and get yourself another. I know its not the same, at first, but you'll soon be giving it all you love and attention.
