    One for Doug...

Waspie ... Doug, not sure if you're on Farcebook but thought you might want to have a butchers at this mate...

Many thanks to the Weybridge Branch of the Royal Aeronatical Society and the management and volunteers of the Brooklands Museum for the invitation to fly-in to the Museum, and to give a presentation...

Yup I do have FB but rarely use!! I t's used as emergency comms for my lad if emails or message fail!
I'm aware of many of the Historic Wasps. The one I had most interaction with has now passed his Wasp to the RN historic flight as its upkeep for displays and such was becoming too much for a private owner/user.
Thanks for the link Lee, I'll have a proper butchers later this evening.

This is the group I have been watching on FB. Doc Martin!!! No really!! Is an ex RAF doctor who had a pilots license and bought XT787 or Xray Tango for short. It was he and Larry Jeram Croft who wrote the Operational History of the Westland Wasp. I say wrote, put together all our stories and tales of the Wasp. Larry was an accomplished author in his own right. Ex test pilot at Portland and Lynx flight commander amongst many other things.
