    Hi Andrew

Good luck tomorrow. Since it's similar to you old job you should settle in quickly. Hopefullytheh will not have too much of a backlog for you to deal with.

Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

A belayed, 'Thanks very much chaps'. First week is over and so far so good. It's a much smaller company and so will hopefully not take too long to settle in.

Peter - as you say, the good thing is that the fundamentals of role is the same as my old job, I just need to apply what I know to a different business. It a very different business with a very different risk profile in most respects and doesn't have the backing of a global company like my previous jobs. But at the same time a refreshingly open and honest culture....they know they are not perfect....but at the same time in some aspects they're a long way ahead of my previous employer.

Thanks again for the support chaps!

Glad the first week went well. I've been 34 years in the Finance Sector and in that time the two areas expanding most have been risk and compliance, so it seems you are in the growing area!
