Just been told about the 'Veterans Rail card' by somebody who works with Mrs L, so I thought I'd have a look to see what it's all about,

Apparently you get 1/3 off train tickets, for £30 per year, so given that we have a few trips to Kent planned and a trip to Edinburgh for our 10th wedding anniversary this year It'll work out saving me more than the initial £30 cost..

So have a look folks... it may save you some cash. :thumb2:

Sorry to jump on your post Chris but in the same vein!!
Also useful is the defence discount card. A fiver for five years and loads of saving across the board. (Well maybe not Kits)!! But days out, sport gear, food to cars.

Already got one mate, saved shed loads on various bits and bobs....now if only we could find a model shop that accepts it, that would be perfection.
