    Aircraft recognition?

Any spotters have any ideas what I saw today.
No pics sorry. It was during the morning walk.

Ok. About the size of a small single engined Cesna.
    Rear wing was swept back.
    Narrow dart looking fuselage.
Forward of the rear wings were what looked like small canards.
At a guess I would say piston engined and possibly a pusher arrangement.

If anyone has any ideas? Love to hear from them before I waste countless hours searching the internet.

    Thanks guys.

Thanks Mike. That was the basic configuration indeed. It must have been about 1000 feet, heading south possible towards the Channel Islands. Quite a noisy machine!!
