Well I think all our politicians, from whatever party, are decent, honest, trustworthy people who have our best interests at heart. I know that because they've told me so in their leaflets, on TV and sometimes in person.
I'm now going out into the garden to watch the flocks of pigs flying over my house. :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:Comment

You do: just ensure the ballot is incorrect. Select more people than you’re allowed to, for example, or write something on it that’s not supposed to be there. Exact rules for what makes a ballot (in)valid vary by jurisdiction, of course, but here in the Netherlands it is as soon as anything more has happened than colouring in one and only one of the boxes using a red pencil. For “none of these people” you just colour in two or more boxes, or you write something on the sheet — like “I don’t want to vote for any of these people” — or draw a smiley face on it. Any of this makes it invalid and thus, a vote for nobody.Comment

That's different though Jakko, a spoiled ballot just shows the voter's laziness, whereas a "none of the above" vote would indicate the voter's dissatisfaction with all the candidates. You do: just ensure the ballot is incorrect. In Denmark at the last election there was a record high of blank votes. Far more demonstrative than just not going.
It was you that started to describe the system

As above when the comments start to edge toward actual political differences we are no longer discussing ballot papers. No, we are describing the ballot papers and illustrating the difference - and after all it is a current topic all over Europe at the moment.
No one is telling who you should vote for.
So let's stop being woke for a change, and let freedom of speech come to the fore.
And it has absolutely nothing with woke.Comment

Writing something about not wanting to vote for any of the above is not lazy, IMHO. Laziness would be not going to vote despite wanting to and having the opportunity to, but deciding not to bother. Which is also distinct from not going to vote because you don’t care, or because you think they’re all just as bad, or because you would really like to vote “none of the above”.Comment
