    This is family

Sorry to post something that is nothing to do with modelling, but this is important to me. This weekend I took my mums ashes home to where she was born. She was scattered on the West Hill at Hastings. I am an only child and, as you can imagine, this was a job I was frankly dreading doing with just my wife. However, I need not had worried, I had help. This is my family. My cousins came good. They all took time out of their schedule to support me. It involved them all taking a good 250 miles round trip and spending a couple of nights in a hotel or b and b. I am just so bloody proud to call them family that I wanted to share this.

Later, we had a night out in the old town, where our Grandmother and her husband were born and brought up before the war caused them to be evacuate to Salisbury. I’ll tell you what….no-one parties like this lot……they are a true force of nature. Mum would‘ve loved it! The surreal part was ending in a pub watching a great folk band, looking to my right and seeing I was stood next to John Otway……

That's great Tim, good to have family mate.
Like Chris boatman, my family broke up after an argument, it's been a good 15 years since I last saw them and I mean it's been good! Haha

I’m the one six from the left in the Joni Mitchell T shirt Chris. Really sorry to hear about your family though.

Great story Tim. In a world which seems so full of troubles and hatred stories like yours restore the balance.

Dont be Tim, just because it's blood doesn't mean it's family mate, I know more trustworthy people out there, some I haven't seen since I served with them

What a wonderful story and family Tim. I am the only member of the Court family left and mums family live in N Wales and Yorkshire, so it was just me and Julie to scatter mum. Not a pleasant thing to do.

So glad you had such support

                          You are blessed Tim.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Well done to your family, and well done to you for the courage in spreading the ashes.
