Hi Chris - strangely there was no pain at all. There must be some truth in the old saying "no sense, no feeling"!

Okay so here's one. Years ago before I worked from home, I used to model on an old tray in my car during lunch breaks. I once dropped a full bottle of Humbrol liquid cement over the back seat. I had drive around with all the windows open for a fortnight - it was January...

Yes indeed Chris - it gets to us all alas. I did think that driving whilst cold was better than driving under the influence to glue fumes though lol!

So you've just finished your best ever P 51 Mustang ---- extra detailing ...... good paint job ...... aftermarket decals ...... subtle weathering ..... and all topped off with a coat of varnish

A couple of days later you notice that the Star 'n' Bar is on top of the wrong wing.

That’s not limited to females. At Porton down I worked with several bright men over the years that would probably try to use the blunt end of a screwdriver if you were dumb enough to give them one to use. My favourite ever story was when I was a youngster there. Our team leader had bought in a pie for his lunch. When he sent my coworker and my self to lunch he asked the coworker to put his pie in the oven to heat up. We had a baby belling cooker in our rest room for heating food (pre microwave days was this), and for those that don’t know, they have two rings, and a grill/oven. There are three knobs, one either side for the rings, and one in the middle for the grill/oven which you turn one way or the other to activate the function you want. Not complicated…..
Anyway, half an hour later team leader walks in, opens the oven to take out his well earned hot lunch, and finds a raw pie with a literally burning crust on it. It was well alight. Coworker had only gone and put it under the grill for half an hour……John would’ve been proud :upside:
