I have used bare-metal foil to mask the canopy. When I eventually remove the foil, the canopy will be a bit messy from the sticky part of the foil. What is the best way of cleaning it?

I use WD40 on a cotton bud - works very well IMHO.Originally posted by \I have used bare-metal foil to mask the canopy. When I eventually remove the foil, the canopy will be a bit messy from the sticky part of the foil. What is the best way of cleaning it?

I didn't glue it. The Bare-Metal foil is like a sticker. Peel it off the paper it is on and stick it on the canopy. When you take it off it will inevitably leave a little mess. Apparently it can be minimised by dipping the canopy in Klear/Future prior to applying the BMF.Comment
