    Glass cases

    Hello all

I have been pondering with the idea of making my own glass display cases but the only part i cannot seem to find any info on is how to fix the sides and top of the glass together.

I have thought of using silicon but i have also seen a case that looked like it was fixed with a painted lead bead around the edges.

Has anyone else come across this any advice welcome.

My case is not actually glass it is acetate and the sides are held in the cyano. Obviously great care is needed not to put too much in and have it squeeze out and mar the clear side so just a few spots of gel type and put it in the bottom of the groove should do the bit.

      Dave.

      Try one like this.

1"x1" frame, and the standard window glass is trap in by beading on both sides.

      Or use this

3/4" x 3/4" x 1/16", Aluminium Angle, Aluminium | Metal & Plastic online | Tube, Angle, Flat, Round, Sheet, Box, Rod
