    Hello and Tamiya TS paints

    Hi

New to the site so a quick hi to everyone.

My question is about Tamiya TS paints. Have brought the Bismarck kit and in the paint list it shows to Tamiya TS paints, numbers 33 (dull red) and 68 (deck tan), but i can not find a conversion into revell or humbrol paints. Can anyone help?

    Cheers

    Hi

Welcome to Scale Models. There are a number of conversion charts around if you Google it. I have no recollection of the TS range, but I may have missed it as I use air brushes. That said, you can order all these easy enough from the web. Wonderland Models being one place.

    Cheers

Tamiya TS range was withdrawn last year due to labelling problems, they will be available again this year.

            Hi

Does anyone have any idea as to when the Tamiya spray paints will be available again here in the E.U?

It seems theyu have been saying the same thing for agaes. About a year ago the bloke down the model shop said they were all loaded onto the ship from Japan and on their way, but it would take a while as it had to go round the houses to get here.

Maybe the crew are living it up right now in Dubai or somewhere

Or maybe those Somali pirates got them, and have all taken up modelling - well it has been quiet on the international piracy front the last 2 weeks or so

            We can only wait....

Cheers all, and Happy New Year to one and all!
