Originally posted by \Hi Andrew, no I was over that way cos used to live at New Brighton so knew the shop at Liscard and still do odd jobs on the Wirral (plus my wife works on Wirral and most of family is there - which is why I was interested). Is that one near Charing Cross junction. If it is I seem to remember visiting that one many years ago, they had lots of Tamiya stuff. Will now make a point (excuse!) of re-visiting that one. My local model shop is at Rhuddlan (Rhuddlan Models) and he's well stocked, but only a tiny shop and he does mainly railway modelling. There's also another one just outside Rhuddlan but he does mainly RC cars and all the bits for them. But not bad for this area - they seem to be big on railway modelling in N Wales, planes are of less interest.
