    Guardian Angel !

Its seems i have a guardian angel watching over me as i walked away from this today with just a fractured hand , a broken nose and cuts from flying glass . I am just thankful i had no passenger .

Sorry for the picture quality i took it from my phone after i was released from hospital . I am not a religious person but ......

Is that what they call a "whats left Ford" looks like what's left of a transit and man you where lucky but good to see you're on your feet and still living it's a good feeling ain't it.

I am glad it was not a ford transit as if it was i am sure i would not be here . No this is the sorry remains of an Volkswagon LT35 .

I had just come round a sweeping corner and got blinded by the low lying sun we are currently having . In the Glare i failed to see a 7.5t tipper truck that was sticking out into the road . The police say there was no way i could have seen it as there were no skid marks at the scene, hence i did not brake at all before the impact . The impact moved the tipper truck 20 feet i am told . The investigaters say i hit the truck doing 30mph but i was still accelerating , it was a 40mph road . The only thing i remember is the firemen ( you can spot one in the pic ) dragging me out the broken window before the paramedics got there due to the fact the van was carrying 2 of each oxygen and acetaylene bottles in the back.
