    Hot Hot HOT

Man it's hot, to give you an idea it's 7.45am Adelaide time and it's 36 degrees heading to another 42 degree day, on Wednesday it hit 46.1 at 6pm and yes I did survive but I can't tell you if my models have as it's far too warm to go into my den (it's not part of the air cond house) so the plastic could be a melted blob on the floor and the cardstock a saggy mess who knows but we need some cool wether so if you have any send it our way we still have another week of this above 40 heat and it started last Monday.

Wish we had some over here in England. They have forecast another siberian cold spell next week with -4 temp at night and -1 in the day, heavy snow storms are also forecast. There is a likely chance that the met office could be wrong again, they are proving to be 99% out most of the time,

Andy I'd luv to be in your position, the cold I can stand just rug up it's this bleeding heat that's killing us all so far here in Adelaide around 10 elderly folk have died because the power company in it's wisdon is blacking out suburbs to save power and get us through this heat wave, so far finger crossed we haven't been hit but it will come and then it's up to our alternative energy to keep a fan going to help cool us till the mains comes back on. I'm staying out of my den as it's so warm in there I've een cut power to it to help keep the temp down. So Andy send the cold here and I'll ask God to send some heat to you although at 45 degrees I suspect you'll soon agree with me, HOT.

What are you going to do when the summer comes?. We have been warned that this week is going to the coldest yet for 30 years. Night time temps as low as -6 and daytime temps to -1. I remember in 83 it got down to -25 in the day with massive snow blizzards, now that wasnt 30 years ago. I never believe the met office they are as bigger liers than the govermont in this country. We should be looking at cosiderable snow storms for the next 3 or 4 days so they recon, we'll see. If it happens i'll post you some pics so that you can sit and stare at them, make yourself shudder for a while.

        Good luck down under

Sorry to hear that your still suffering out there and its not getting better. We are haveing a similar problem...not as bad obviously but the total reverse in climate. Sorry to hear about your father, thats not good. I hate the heat here in the UK, when it is hot it is hot, luckily we havent had a good summer for years. The snow started to fall around lunch time, this was just a quick flurry here in the Midlands. They say that worse is yet to come, around 2am. Hope it gets better for you soon.

I will still send the pics when it comes.

              Take care.

Andy if the photos I've seen on TV here in Oz are anything to go by we need it here in SoutOz right now, the temp during the day hasn't dropped below 38 for (well I can't remember too hot) oh really we're in our 10th day now and it looks like Sunday coming will be the last of it (maybe). As soon as it over I'm planning a tutiral???? on how I make antennas and guns out of insulin needles and the syringe could be used as rams for cranes.

Thanks Andy, we are really copping it here today (Sat 7th) overnight temp 32 and duirng today they say it will hit 43 maybe 45 depending on whether the cool change get here before mid-day or not. The tut is on it's way looks like Sunday is going to be a 25 degree day would you belive it we cook and raost one day near freeze the next oh well they call it global change I dunno about that something crazy is going on, weather alround the world is stupid in Australia the south is baking under a hot 40+ sun and in the north they are in rain then in the Nortern Hemiphere you're all freezing ya little kookaburras off with ice & snow plus rain in some countries I suppose it is global:strong: weather change. Anyway U all stay safe and out off those slippery roads.
