    Revell Funfdecker.

Hello folks. Whilst my main interests are small scale armour and larger scale figure painting. I have recently heard that Revell have re released the old Red Baron and his Funfdecker kit. A light hearted comic model. I would love to get one and build it. I've trawled around the internet and can't see one anywhere. Can anyone help me find one, hopefully on mail order ? Many thanks......

hi and welcome to the friendliest forum around.I remember these kits from when i was a kid ! I did the messaschnitzel and flt lft rif raf and his spitsfire, but not the funfdecker or the lafayette .These kits are brilliant, like the hasegawa egg planes and just what you need to remind yourself that this hobby is supposed to be fun and enjoyable.I havent heard anything about them being reissued ,but ive seen a few spitsfires on e-bay recently in america,so all i can advise is keep an eye on this. This has really made me want to do one again!!! once again welcome ,cheers tony

Hello and welcome. Not sure about the "Funfdekker" but I think Revell still do the "Messaschnitzel". Hope you find one.

Hi All Fundecker 'wannabees', recently visited Duxford for the Autumn Airshow which was great as usual and bought some discount kits from stalls selling seconhand and new ones.

Mr Models of Birmingham had a box load fo Messa Shnitzells and Spitsfires For sale try this

www.mrmodels.info and get building. I have a confession to make bought two myself they are brilliant, the mock German instructions will make you giggle. " You vill sticken dis bit to dis bit, yah good"

        All the best,

        John
