    BOY'S AND GIRL'S SHEDS...ect!!

When I looked at triumph's (pete) photo of his shed, I had an idea......

As the season of goodwill (!!) is getting nearer how about for a bit of fun, the members of Scale Models posting a picture of where they work on their models?

    The rules.....

    One photo only.

    No cheating (as if)

    No tidying up.

Optional, and it would be a nice touch......

The modeller on the photo 'cos I, and I'm sure others, would like a chance to see the people behind the printed word.

I commend the idea to the house.

Who's going to start? One pace forward, Yakface!!!

ok ron ,heres me in my shed (actually a brick built store on the back of my garage) i didnt tidy anything up, hence no actual space to do much on the bench ! spot the halftrack and caudron 450 racer.Loads of other stuff is out of shot on the floor, shelves ,joiners bench ,skyhooks! in fact just about everywhere. The spraying is done on the joiners bench at the other side of the shed. apologies to everyone for the image of me, useful for putting on the mantelpiece though, keeps the kids away from the fire!!!!! cheers tony :anicam:

Nice and tidy Tony, one would think that you were a chemist mate, lol. I would love to post to this thread but as i build on the bigger scale i would need to take three seperate shots because of the size of the workshop. This would be breaking the rules.

          Great idea by Ron though.

Sorry Tony, I was hoping to post a picture along with the opening of the thread but the present Mrs. Ron and I have only just reached some kind of normality after her 'bus pass' party over the w/end.

Because we live just inside the Welsh border, we can now leave the motor at home, hop on the bus and tour all of Wales top to bottom, for NOWT!!

                  :roller4::roller4:

                  Picture very soon!

I'd love to oblige but my "workbench" consists of an old plastic breadboard about 30cm x 19 cm (12" x 8" in old money) which I put on my lap. We have a two-seater settee in our lounge so I sit on one half and have a box with all my bits and pieces on the other seat. I have to keep the kit box on the floor next to me. That's it. That's my workshop!

Doesn't sound much but I built the 1/35 Dora on it - apart from the final assembly - and that's over 5ft long.

                    Gern

PS I obviously don't do my spray painting there! I have to take that outside. I use newspapers and the box from the Airfix D-Day landing kits as a spray booth.

You wouldn't get your breath how tricky it is! That's why the queue of unfinished kits is growing steadily longer!

I'll see if I can get SWMBO to take a pic. I'll let you know 'cos someone will have to tell me how to upload it when (if) it gets done.

Here are my photos of where I do my modelling (no,try to!)

The first is up in' the 'loft.' I make the models up here in the good quality light, and when I need a break I watch the bull in the field!!!!

The second is my workshop which is on the side of the garage. This is where I make the dioramas. Spot the stug,Tiger and Bismark!

This is the first photo I have ever taken of the workshop and I see now why my two 40yr. old sons despair on entering.....

Do I know where everything is? Of course I b****y well don't!

The third is of the neighbours who came round for a beer during the wifes 60th party!

                              O.K. boys and girls, I'm in....next please.
