    Glue

Just getting back into the hobby and I have discovered Humbrol Precison Poly and don't like it! I used to use the stuff in the jar with the small brush. The brush was perfect for the big bits and the small ones I just had an old pin that I dipped in.

This stuff keeps clogging the metal tube so none will come out. Then you give it squeeze and it fires out.

    Am I missing something?

    Alright

I use the Contacta Liquid pro witht he fine needle. I love it because i can really control the amount coming out. I do sometimes have the problem with it clogging. After the odd application i give it a thorough wipe with a tissue to keep the end clear. Other times i have to poke the end with my modelling knife to remove the conjealed stuff. It's a bit of a pain but takes about 10 seconds. I try to be gentle with applying pressure because it can happen that the glue keeps seeping out; i wipe off a few drops until i get the desired amount.

A glue i bought which i will never touch again was the Revell Contacta Liquid special in a small jar which comes with its own brush. That stuff it thick and ends up everwhere plus it leaves (don't know the proper name) streaks of glue flying about which end up all over the model.

    Cheers
