    Decalfix

Evening people! Enjoying the snow back home?

Just a quickie; what decalfix do you use to fix your decals to your models? What about Humbrol's one?

    Cheers

This is something I have never used and am not too sure about. I will have to search through for more info on this as it appears that some product of this type is used on most good models.

I've got em' all (except Humbrol) and the one that always melts the carrier film, does not dissolve or mare the future(kleer) clearcoat is Microsol and Microset. These are by now industry standards and are not nearly as hot as Mr. Mark softner and Solvaset. HTH, Jeff

Wot 'e said! Microset (blue bottle) to get the decal on followed by Microsol (red bottle) to snuggle it down. I have only once had a bad reaction (to 'sol) and that was with the notoriously fragile Techmod decals.
