    Flexi-file Flex-pads

Anyone know where I can get some? or something similar? Read about them on a few US sites, but I don't see any in the Uk.

I use the sanding sticks from Micro Mesh. They're really good, easy to clean, flexible & I couldn't live without them! I got mine from The Model Catalogue. Patrick

                Hi there.

Like a couple of others on this site (who shall remain nameless!), I don't spend money on bits and pieces unless I absolutely have to! I'd much rather save my pennies for the kits I want. Try the cosmetics counter at your local 'pound' shop. There's lots of different sanding sticks, sanding blocks, small sponges & brushes (for pastels etc), files, tweezers etc that the ladies use. Some are better than others, but at the price you pay it's not the end of the world if you're not satisfied with 'em.

Even though I am very engineering orientated and these items are more in my line, you might find some items of interest from these people. It is really worth spending some time mooching about.

They have diamond coated everything, and I use their super fine lapping plates, which really are super fine, and their very cheap milling cutters. But they also have all sorts of diamond faced sheet and components, which if rinsed off with soapy water should last you a lifetime. You could cut the sheets up and stick it to the filing sticks you use.

I usually get my bits about a week or so after ordering.

                  welcome to richontools.com
