Help again please.

what percentage do some of you guys use if you spray enamels through your ABs, i tried it today and found that a 50 50 mix clogged up the brush and any more thinner added caused splashing. I had to resort to the hairy stick and iam not impressed with the results, can anyone help please as i have never sprayed enamels before.

I only spray Acrylics. To be honest, and I am sure someone will pull me up on this, I cannot see the point of spraying Enamels other than specialist paints like Alclad, which I believe, but do not know for sure, is some Lacquer based paint.

The range of Acrylics is so great now using Tamiya (which don't brush that easy but are superb in an AB) and Vellejo Model Air which are pre thinned. The only really good range of enamels that I have experience of is the Humbrol enamels which is vast and contains some of the much missed "Authentic Range". However, the simple logistics of cleaning, smelly fumes and general slow drying puts me off even considering enamels at all.
