    Hi All,

    As a newbie, doing all i can to suck up new info!

    About to start model ducati, so i looked on youtube and found this brilliant tutorial. dont know how to put links on here but if you go on youtube and punch in ducati tutorial you will get a six part lesson in brilliant model making. the posters name is sleepyfiel or sleepyfeil. shows you loads of tips shame its all in japanese coz i'm sure giving a talk through. Just good to watch a guy hand painting every link and cog on a motorcycle chain!!. how to use compound polisher. . Use putty to create welding on exhausts. Once you watch the video's you will note that there are hundreds of tutorials ranging from cars to ships on here.

    Now iv'e written all of this i bet you all have already seen them. but hey! i was so impressed i had to tell the world lol!

    Cheers Ex TT. That's good info. Don't worry about risking repetition on here! There's loads of new guys and girls joining up and I for one enjoyed these Youtube vids. Here's the link for anyone else:

      There is lots of different modellers on here and no matter what our individual interests are, we like to pick up things from others. I have never had a go at a motorcycle, other than a 1:35 German WWII BMW and sidecar. The larger kits, like cars, look great but I am not sure I could get the quality of finish required. The inclusion of these links will certainly be interesting for me. Look forward to seeing your work. But never be afraid to ask questions, that is how we all keep ourselves going.

        There are some great videos, also in japanese, in which a pro-builder is given a challenge to build a kit. Seen them do a couple of tanks, a U-boat and the guy in the video of the Ducatti did a Subaru WRC.

        Shame that so many of them are from Japan and with out sub titles!!!
