First things first, welcome to the forum Mike, I hope you enjoy your time with us.

I hope you get plenty of replies to any threads you post.

To answer your question I am a bit of a diorama nut, armour mostly. I feel they give the model a bit of life and gives you a chance to weather your model too.

Above all they are fun to build and to let your imagination flow.

I would think Rally cars would be up there with the best to do a diorama of....

Only one way to find out.....!!

I think they would make a great diorama, maybe even possible to get them slightly in the air or certainly leaning into a drift. I think that Ron may exempt these dioramas from the 'bucket rule', what say you Ron?

Mike... the bucket rule refers to slight misconception, nay fanaticism, that all armour dioramas should include a bucket. We have all been infected by the bucket rule and it is not always a pretty sight

I'm sure I've seen a mark2 escort rally carin someones gallery. Maybe Centurion? It has been modeled mid drift and has perfect poise and balance. I'll see if I can find a link

Personally I'd love to see more rally dioramas.

Not finished! Couldn't get any better I'd say! I love the detachment onto the wood base (or is it your table?) this doesn't need a dio, you get all the feeling you need just from the model. A poet would say it's like the wind, you can't see it, but you can certainly feel it. I'll try again with a bigger link:

Sorrt to hijack the thread, and your portfolio Centurion!
