    Whats next?

I'm only on my 5th kit so far, and they are all fairly diverse military vehicles. Still deciding on the next one however. Possibley a Marder, or a Italeri M923 Big Foot.

How does everybody else decide? Is there a plan, or whatever takes your fancy?

No real plan for me, sometimes I am inspired to have a go because I have seen someone else's model and though "I want to do that". Sometimes, I see a box art and think "Oooo, that looks nice." (Yes, I am that shallow) and sometimes, it is to challenge myself as in the case of my latest project, a bi plane with rigging and really weird paint scheme.

      Hi Dave,

If I had a vote I'd go for the Bigfoot, but only 'cos we've just seen a Marder!

However; you're the modeller and it's your stash you're selecting from; so whatever takes your fancy would be fine with me - as long as you post pictures for us!

PS Sorry Dave. Not said hello and welcome 'til now!

Hi Dave, thats a diverse mixture of vehicles. I normally have good intentions of doing one kit then all of a sudden it changes when I start looking on web or reading books. There is a Tamiya Panzer III Ausf.N in my stash which should of started last year and its gathering dust!! One day my precious....

          Big foot it is then.

I also have a SAS command car, BMP1 (which i recently saw in a mag painted in UN white, bit different), a Dodge Ambulance and a Dragon M2 half track with etched parts, which i'm a bit daunted by. It was a good christmas all in all!!

I`m way too far ahead with ideas and buying things I`m running out of places to put my unbuilt kits , doing a diorama at the moment also got a spitfire on the go but have already got my next 2 dios planned with a lot of stuff already bought ( this game is blimming addictive ) be newish its also costing me a small fortune building up my materials kit

So my plan at the moment is to stop any more planning ( because the way I`m going I could open a model shop )

How to choose!? Thats a tough one.

I have a look around on the inter net for a bit of inspiration. Aiming at some thing I have in my stash, but more often than not I find some thing totally different. Then i have to find the kit, where I can get one, buy it and then start on something totally different!!

Looking in my stash, I might just take a boat next time but dont hold your breath.

I always have a plan but rarely follow it! Next should have been the Tamiya Spitfire but then I saw this:

and thought "I wonder if I could do that" just to stick one up the current fashion for making aircraft look like patchwork quilts with one that, with the putty which would normally prevent that unpainted, actually looks like one!

I'm still wondering if I can pull it off.

I`m sure you can pull that one off Steve, with your track record no problems mate

Also nice to know even the top boys plans go west sometimes LOL
