Well, the old way was to use Super Glue but it has its problems. The 'in' way to do it now is to use a PVA glue as it gives you some manoeuvring time, dries clear and you can wipe of any that oozes out with a damp cotton bud/Q-Tip. Takes a while to dry but works well.
The latest 'cool' way is to use an Acrylic glue, favourite is Gator's Grip Hobby Acrylic Glue, more commonly known as Gator Glue. The advantages that Gator Glue has over PVA is that as well as drying clear, it dries rock hard as opposed to the soft rubbery PVA, this means it is less likely to get lifted off by accident.
A small bottle is between £4 - £6 which is expensive sounding but used just for photo etch, you only use a cocktail stick tip so will last for ages.
The main importer is A2Zee Models but it is also available from Little Cars but they have a £10 minimum order. I got mine from A2Zee and it was the only thing I bough so with P&P it cost £6.51 inc £1.51 P&P with no hassle over minimum orders
